kojima the star

-I really wish if someone can explain to us the remarks and what do they imply
OP Twitter should upload their animator's genga more often, I've only seen OP genga so far from Henry Thurlow and Mitchell Gonzales independently from their twitter. Any reason why that they are doing this now?

Probably they are recognizing more the sakuga community.
Actual OP genga from an official source was the last thing I expected to see this morning.

Hoping for more.

Actually yes, that's what I thought when I saw the post. Genga are actually useful to open people's eyes and showing the non animation community users to appreciate how animation is made and how hardworking it is to make anime in general. They got lots of retweets so I'm hoping they upload more soon. This Kojima section in amazing both in genga and in the actual anime.
I hope we get more of this! Especially one from Ishizuka.
So here's what I suspect happened. Toei (Shueisha and all those others involved) Seem to be pretty old-fashoned with regards to One Piece. It seems to me like they didn't actually consider that there was an interest in incomplete animation... However, the explosion in size of the "sakuga community" may have taken them by surprise. I expect they were originally against it, but thanks to independents (being Henry Thurlow, Gonzales, and a few others) posting their stuff, Toei now realizes they can totally capitalize on it now.

Also, a lot of the really fashy stuff is done in... well, Flash (I will never call it Adobe Animate) Toonboom, and TvPaint which makes collecting the shot information a breeze now.

That's exactly what I think too.
Wait... Is Kojima a webgen? I know plenty of non webgens draw digitally, but his linework does feel a bit digitally trained to me. I know there are several generations of "webgen" so is he like Kenichi Kutsuna/ Ryo-Timo era?
he started on paper, transitioned relatively recently
