It was really great seeing Kazunori again after such a long time. I'm excited to see more of his work on EZ if he continues as a semi regular. Loved the addition of the kanji for Shiki's attacks.

I still wonder if Hiraoka was involved with the background animation, because what’s visible of that in 10+10’s genga is pretty rough (including the parts not replaced with cgi later), and some things like the mouth in the beginning are completely missing as far as I can tell. It just oozes his style
