I find it really hard to tell the difference between Shimanku and Tate. Even now, going through their work on here, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference if you paid me. Does anyone know their history. Did one Shimanuki mentor Tate ?
Also, anyone got the genga for 0:34?

I'm not sure if Tate handles the beans dropping, but at the very least, the first 12 seconds are his. Shimanuki either animates the beans dropping, or if not, then his part begins at ~23 seconds.
Yeah, Shimanuki was Tate's senior and Tate worked under him for a while, so a lot of Tate's earlier work is very much like Shima's. If I had to say a specific detail that differentiates them, Tate's poses are a lot less segmented and also his work has more in-betweens, while Shima's work is really snappy.
Hisada and Tate are even harder to tell apart. Their poses can be almost identical sometimes
