This is in adobe animate (flash), so I just did the perspective with the line tool and tweens.

When red kicks blue, it would look funner if you went crazy on the leg kick smears, more stretch. It looks tight but works if that's what your going for.

That's a really good call, thanks! I think I'll definitely try play with the amount of stretch moving forward and different smears too
