I have a hunch this is Imaishi
It's punchy
The drawings are very loose and confident in a very similar way to his other stuff
It's pretty common for Imaishi to have a nice big shot in the end of the series in trigger projects.
The shape language and way the shading is handled seems pretty much like him too.

This was after Trigger stopped working on the show, right?

He wasn't credited, nor does it look like his animation tbh.

t. blind
so he doesn't do any kanada flares and you suddenly can't see the imaishi?
The only people who ever drew like that are no longer with us or retired.
If you need more proof compare it to this https://www.sakugabooru.com/post/show/51151
Either way last time I checked you don't get credited for making a few cuts here and there if you have a director's credit. Imaishi was the action animation director.

It's well documented that he had left the production by this point. Also you should check the episode credits before getting so needlessly defensive over what is a very incorrect presumption.
