I think it speaks volume how horribly rushed the production and how terrible the art direction for Fishmen Island is that even Ishizuka's cut feels underwhelming

Tbf it's one of FI stronger episodes. Remember he supervised it and usually did little to no key animation on his episodes due to the workload.
