Shocked to see episode 5 here, would've prefered to see the blu ray version even if it lacks the exaggeration.

Can't stand the Blu-ray version. Killed all the charm and covered it in blur.

Interesting to hear that,I personally can't stand how ugly Goku looks after he gets flicked by Beerus in the TV version.

To me, there's a bit of a certain charm to the "ugly" expression. It's not really meant to be a picture-perfect still, but to demonstrate pain.
I always wondered why this wasn't here before.
Debris and smoke are the best of this!
It was just like Tate to provide very decent KA on his episode despite it being rushed. Even with the recent surge of Tate acceptance and love, he's very underappreciated when it comes to his KA. I can't wait to see how he does if he shows up on the new movie.

I don't think his work is that much hated/underappreciated. IIRC, there wasn't a lot controversy surrounding his work on other shows, like one piece. Some parts of certain fandoms just have a certain type of Stockholm syndrome for designs that are unnecessarily detailed and stiff. Some folks just want Desktop material art, that doesn't conflict with a certain aesthetic they have in mind.
I forgot to ask but is the part where Beerus dodges the kamehameha CGI?
What about what Ken Otsuka did in this episode? Was it not good enough?

I don't think so. Anyway, Otsuka's work in DBS is stiff.

I mean yeah his work on 66 was...yeah, but what he did here wasn't so bad right?

Please stop adding useless tags. If they're not the focus of the scene in a stand-out way, they're not necessary. If every post with a bit of moving hair and clothing had those tags then they'd be of use to absolutely nobody.

Alright ALRIGHT fine. It just bothers me that certain tags aren't on certain posts but fine I'll stop.
