I remember seeing this clip be reused in the 2nd ED and searched for it for a while and then when I found it, I didn't think it was good enough, but glad it's here now lol
Is this hiroyuki imaishi, cause it looks like it (idk where to find the staff so I'm not sure)

Imaishi is not credited on this episode or anywhere on this show. I'd say the closer possibility is that this is an IG animator who also worked on FLCL or Dead Leaves.

This definitely is true, however there could be a possibility that like the case with ep 120 of DBZ where naotoshi shida animated the scene of trunks cutting freeza in half (which was always thought to be katsuyoshi nakatsuru but instead it was heavily corrected) but shida was never credited in the ep despite contributing so it's possible to see both cases as valid (for now)

I think it's unwise to presume an NC participation without solid evidence. Imaishi's ties to this production are tenuous at best.

Yeah ik, I'm only on the mid stages of figuring the production side of nippon animation's HxH adaptation ( I only know 2 KA, the CD, and the AS for the series and OVAs)
