I believe this whole OP may in fact be a Tomita solo KA and if not he at least handled the vast majority of KA himself. (The way the genga credits for the episode in which this OP debuted in didn't exactly make it clear to me.)

He also storyboarded it himself and directed it alongside Yasunori Goto.
