Feels like a small nod to studio Cachette's Kairos trailer. That or it's a common shot and I'm just an uncultured prat. Good stuff either way.

You are right, it is highly similar to Kairos, but it's not as shameless as all the other shots in this opening they ripped off directly from other animations.
