I want Takahashi to be the Character Designer instead of Yamamuro :(

I really thought this was Shida from looking at the detailed keyframes alone, but then I noticed that it didn't quite have the same timing as him. Not to mention the smoke effects at the end there . It's interesting how Takahashi is inspired by Shida's style, and yet still adding his own spin to it!

Takahashi is even better than Shida imho. I mean, not that shida isn't good, but I see Takahashi's style better suited for DragonBall; Shida's poses and movements feel almost too "soft" and smooth for DB, I feel like he doesn't convey impact and speed as he should. while Takahashi is less smooth but more natural and powerful.

People mistake good animation with good stillframes far too often with DBS, id much prefer they used the animation to convey more movement or emotion over just looking cool in screenshots. This scene wasn't as great as the comments make it out to be

Agreed,thats the problem with the whole DB fandom

I strongly disagree, the animation here (not just the art) is superb for a tv series

Great rotation, but debris and explosion are lacking IMO. Not the best super or Takahashi (on TV) has to offer IMO.
