The part where goku holds the mushroom seems takeo ide.
The first part i am not sure but i don't think is naoki tate, but maybe i am wrong. It may be nakatsuru?
Both myself, Kei, and zed4ever seem to think it's Tate. It's much clearer in the cut before this, too. Oolong's poses are very Tate-esque, alongside Yamcha's movement.
Characters don't look like Tate. They're actually closer to Ide.
Ide is so evident. I think when they say it's Tate, they refer at the first part where Yamcha punches goku. After that, is evident is Takeo Ide or someone similar to him, all can be...

But looking frame to frame...maybe all the scene was made by Ide....xD
It's a possibility. Goku's smirk is something Ide would create, not Tate from '96. Sadly, with Yamamuro's strong supervision, it's really difficult to analyze this flick.

Agreed. Looking at the fullscreen version in closer detail, it's easy to see Ide's character art, too. Thanks, all.

Though I do think you were correct with the cut before being Tate, I don't really see any of his traits here.
Yamamuro's corrections makes it hard to tell who's who sometimes.
