Why can't they go back to the old DB/Z/GT days when you didn't have multiple jarring differences in animation style in one episode?

The art looks good but the animation is rather limited. Also I don't think the old DBs were as perfect as you seem to imply.

The older series still varied from scene to scene, but it was far subtler. Pretty much the normal case of an animator's idiosyncrasies creeping out from under a supervisor's touch. The exception of course being Ebisawa's later episodes where he stopped correcting Kanno's work.

That's quite a different situation from what you see in Super. Not only do we have distinct halves for each supervisor where the styles are often wildly different, but we've also got a chief AD and a bunch of 2nd KAs changing things up, too. As a result, the styles on display tend to switch fairly heavily from scene to scene.

I'm used to it at this point, but I can see why it'd be jarring.

There's nothing special about it. It will not be approved. It has nice effects, but that's it.

If I thought something was worth being here, I'd have already uploaded it.

Great but maybe too snappy. His movements don't have any sort of rebound. Not a huge issue but a tiny bit jarring. I still love it though! 6/10; pretty good.
