So Henry Thurlow worked on Episode 6 of "Amaama to Inazuma" providing key animation for some scenes including this one, and posted the rough animation on his Tumblr. Keep in mind that the final animation is a little different than the rough since extra frames of the same face are added, so I used the correct frames according to the rough work for this comparison to match correctly.

The rough looks much more stylistically occidental than the completed version. Thurlow said on the Tumblr link "That rough animation in the middle is my first draft to check timing before re-drawing on paper," so I wonder if what he turned in looked significantly more like the final result or if the cut was heavily sakkan'd.
