the last cut is a full retake by Tsuru/Suzuki. They probably redid the bridge in 3D and figured to redraw Gato falling while they were at it -- the fabric sleeves are exactly how Tsuru draws seen in his Gungrave episode (last cut of post #122336) and in Kaze no Yojimbo #13 (post #148770)

I think the most likely person responsible is Chiyuki Tanaka -- but there is some speculation that they did the crying scene instead. I also wonder if Nozomu Abe might've been involved since there are no other action scenes.

At this point only extensive genga matching can credit it, and I haven't come across any production materials for this scene.
