Takeuchi declined to comment on this scene so I'm not able to remove the presumed tag but seeing as how the action scene directly following it is now confirmed and the fact that we have matching genga, makes it just a formality.

the slanted 4 and the 5 that fails to connect the top stroke are pretty similar

it's unfortunate that we dont have more 4:3 aspect ratio era Takeuchi genga to compare with, but even with some later stuff its pretty consistent

years later and not always the same slanted 5 ( such as https://imgur.com/4ZauRGX.jpg ) but still quite recurrent I think
