I don't understand the ghosting for a western release.

is there a reason he keeps reusing these impact frames? is it just out of convenience? they look great but this is the first time i’ve seen the same effect used in three different projects

BANK and re-used animation has been a staple of anime for as long as anime has existed. Though typically that constitutes stuff being re-used within the same series, but you could find tons of instances of cross-series re-use.

there isn't really any law against it either so even though its technically fraudulent (since the person getting re-used is almost always not being remunerated again for work that would otherwise carry a unit price), theres not much reason not to if you dont care about that kind of thing.

It's baffling. He animated such an incredible H2H scene, so it's definitely not a time issue. Maybe he just likes it lol
