I love this scene, but I have a bit of a problem with the excessive blurring in some scenes. It's not really a problem when it's put on top of a far away action scene, but it's seems so chaotic and messy when its put on top of rather slow close-up shots like in 0:23 and 0:32. The compositing, colouring and art direction is still awesome, especially since Park clearly struggled with some elements of that in JJK s1. Either way, awesome scene.
Second cut is heavily derived from Weilin's work from the Hades trailer post #129853, with some very minor timing tweaks (timing is almost identical).

0:19.8 (specifically starting at frame 502) is very heavily referenced (1:1 timing) from Naoki Kobayashi's work in post #206053 for Naruto: Shippuden ED32

Park's been doing this at least since Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the cuts from 0:58.4 onward in post #204770 is directly taken from Ip Man one-to-one, down to the scene composition. If anything this is downright tame by comparison lol
Honestly deleting his traced scenes is for the best in respect to the animators.

Yea, but heavy live action reference can get away as homage (tho it definitely straddles the line sometimes) whereas this feels much more like plagiarism. It is difficult cuz obviously animators should be allowed to make references to other animation, but especially with the preexisting impact frame controversy, it’s hard to give Park the benefit of the doubt here, imo

Your gif didn’t line them up properly. I edited my comment to add comparisons

Looking at, you're right lol. I still wouldn't say it's traced but, maybe I'm not looking at it hard enough.
