This season was absolutely phenomenal but, goddamn, the production was a travesty. When S3 rolls around, I don't know if it'll be as good as S2.
Outstanding end to Season 2. Unfortunately for the animators, MAPPA just unleashed their domain expansion "Overload of the Animation Schedule" and used their cursed techniques "JJK S3", "Chainsaw Man Reze Movie", and (allegedly) "OPM S3", on their animators. And if it's true that the JJK and CSM teams are the same, then these guys are gonna be seeing pencil to paper in their dreams from now on. And that's not even talking about how production collapsed around halfway in this season.
Seems heavily corrected by Koiso

Nor any other potential projects coming through MAPPA's pipelines (outside of JJK 3, CSM Reze, Buchigiri and possibly OPM 3, are any confirmed? I feel like I missed something there), plus the fact they also made Maboroshi and their two episodes of Pluto during JJK's production. These guys really don't know when to slow the fuck down, do they?

Meanwhile, that Yuri on Ice movie has practically become lost media.
It was never made, thats not what lost media is

I'm honestly surprised people still remember that movie was supposed to come out. Yeah it's production is basically dead, no point in bringing it out now after being in production hell all this time, but not lost media, since you can't lose something that never existed.

As for MAPPA, hopefully by the time their new projects come out, things production-wise will be for the better. Though given the amount of projects they announced, especially big names, it's doubtful it'll be any time soon.
