Love the reference, this was done really well
A Kanada dragon pops up at 0:10.9 but it might be too quick to warrant a tag. Really cool effects by Yooto.

What reference are you referring to?

the entire technique is a reference to Junji ito's work "Uzumaki: spiral into horror" but the part I like is at 0:06 where you can see a face https://www.sakugabooru.com/post/show/226906
He’s done the most cuts, even for main animators. Just keeps getting better can’t wait to see what he’ll accomplish in the future.
I thought it was gonna be Kozuma again but, nonetheless, stellar work from Yooto.

Yooto seems to be taking a lot of influence from Kozuma here
That dimming in the last cut kinda killed the mood. Anyway, absoluteoy stellar work

saddest part is, we will have to wait till mid-2024 (or maybe even late 2024 for those who prefer to sail the seas) to get the bluray. meanwhile Crunchyroll continues to post undimmed screenshots on Twitter. horrible company
