yeah unfortunately that's what a sechdual like this will do but. man he still watanabe'd all over the place with this one
Does not matter a weak or a strong cut. I love the pace of k1ro which is very chaotic

i don't think schedule is the reason at this point. He's most likely been working on jjk since January this year and only done about 90 seconds of animation with half of it being unfinished, meanwhile Tomioka has done almost 5 minutes of animation with almost all of it being genga from what it looks like. he's most likely just on another project or something, idk his output shouldn't be this low.

No 2 artists are the same, Watanabe might just be slower in his process considering he will sometimes change the storyboard to his liking depending on the scene. Lots of variables.

I think his insane storyboarding always makes up for if his animation doesn’t keep up. Cause it’s still some crazy chaotic action.

Also Watanabe barely uses in betweens, idk about Tomioka though
