Tate's Sokidan scene is better, but eh, there's not much going on in this special for some weird reason. If you look at the staff list you've got Nakatsuru, Kanno, Hisada, Onishi, Otsuka, Hakamada, and so many more, yet their presence is hardly felt.

Also what CG? Was there even any in this special?!

No, I'm saying that this is the sort of thing a lot of directors would have done in CG instead of hand-drawing these days.
