Shinya Ohira is a freaking legend! I never thought that he would animate a One Piece episode!!! Hopefully Shinya Ohira will animate another episode of One Piece in the future!! And let's not forget Akihiro Ota he was a freaking beast with Shinya!!

The Ohira/Ota combo is insane. One of my favourite animators of all time on One Piece. Incredible.

I do agree, I think it would've also made sense with the context of the scene and the ground turning to rubber. You can see in 0:10 and 0:12 that the animation is overlapping heavily and as if it is in a different angle or that it was moving on its own individual camera. It doesn't really fit too much with the actual bg art, I am interested as to what it would look like without the bg art. I am not sure as to why it kind of got mixed in together. Was this intentional?

Shinya Ohira appearing on One Piece was the last thing I was expecting to ever happen in this timeline, but it also happens that I also saw fucking peak key animation in the same day, as well. I think this might officially be my all-time favorite cut of animation ahead of the one from the Ghibli Kaguya film.
