Putting together a team to save the animators at gohands.

They deserve to be happy. They deserve to be free.
i feel pain for the animator who had to do this
Apart from the absolutely revolting timing, insane melting at points, and very questionable... everything, there's a glaring layering error in the final cut, with the protagonist entering the screen many pixels off
Oh dear it's absolutely atrocious...... I love it
I'm gonna schizopost and say this is probably either Hokuto Sakiyama's or Norimitsu Suzuki's work by how the characters mostly move on 1s and 2s, but I highly doubt it considering how...overall poorly timed the animation is, ambitious as it may be.
Norimitsu Suzuki at home:
Well, it certainly was ambitious, no doubt 😳
This is so weird. Like they're capable of animating these scenes normally, but they don't want to do it.

My problems with the animations in the show so far are the timing and spacing in sequences like this and most importantly the compositing, especially regarding their 3d photorealistic assets, it leads to the characters standing out too much from the environment, also their shading positions just don't let them look like they are in the same environment and it throws off some otherwise fairly decent animated cuts, hoping further down they try to stick to more simplistic shots as those tend to be the better ones.

It's his cousin, Sorimitsu Nuzuki
I love the "Anime in 60 fps" interpolated feeling this has.
GOATHANDS GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
This looks like the mechanical movement in Presence on Robot Carnival, but somehow worse

Brooo😭😭😭😭
Mamoru Oshii can only dream of having this level of integration between hand-drawn animation and CGI, GITS Innocence can't even compare.
Why are the characters so jittery

a combination of too much reliance on 3d reference for the characters, an over reliance on douga to make the finished product work, and an overcommitment to a series of shots they clearly lacked the prowess for on most fronts.
Aside from the fact that the background moves on its own, having the characters animated in 1s makes the movement feel super weird or unnatural
Reminds me of clips with 60fps interpolation with AI
has science gone too far?

Honestly, with that lawsuit they got hit with some time back, I thought that would have ended the nightmare of GoHands there and then.

Boy were we all unprepared for this.

they messed up the timing big time
