god DAMN they absolutely destroyed his LO. Really tired of interesting anime Ideas being destroyed by terrible schedules

I worded it wrong, It's not that they ruined the LO. It feels like the LO is what carries this scene, and is brought down by what seems to be time constraints on all the steps taken afterwards.The compositing isnt that great. When they fall in the first cut the "wind" effects are all motion blurred towards one direction rather than blurred radially, and look solid due to the opacity not being lowered. the compositing on the jelly stuff is really heavy and obscure the detail drawn by Flochiz. The corrections as well lack a lot of the expressiveness of the original LO, and the 2nd KA is pretty inconsistent as well. in the beginning, at 0:02 the transition from her laying to her falling has some pretty inconsistent drawings. Her hand smears out of frame but it's not even colored in. the cut at 0:15 is completely redrawn to be worse, the shoes look like blobs and the animation as the jelly moves out of the way is a huge downgrade compared to the LO. Not to mention the redraw creates a continuity error where there is a bit of it wrapped around her waist at 0:18. at 0:15, it doesn't appear to be around her waist at all. unless you count the use of shadow on her legs as an indicator that they are submerged; it wouldnt be very clear since there's no texture on them and the opening below them is completely black. In the LO its clear that the jelly wrapped around her waist is letting her go

This isnt to say anyone should be shamed for any of this, im sure everyone worked hard on this, I just wish they had more wiggle room to be more precise with things like corrections.
