first cut gives the impression of something Yamashita corrected rather than animated from LO himself. While he's not credited as sakkan on the film the fact that it's the only cut in the entire scene he touched makes it likely it was originally animated by someone else (probably whomever animated the 2nd cut) and he more or less kept the timing but changed the drawings.
