Could someone find storyboard moments from Into the Spider-Verse, such as Peter B.'s backstory and the Alchemax break in?
Is this really a "storyboard"? Shouldn't it be a layout or something?

This is actually a common point of discussion in american productions today, as storyboards get more polished and "animated", how far can it go until it becomes a layout or rough animation.

But strictly speaking, for CG animated movies the layout is done in CG. Also, in this case it isn't a 1:1 comparison since the storyboard has a different timing and poses compared to the final animation
For the record, storyboard and ekonte are inherently different things - and frankly, so are storyboards themselves within different types of filmmaking. Since it's a reasonable, agreed-upon translation I think it's better for them to share the tag rather than trying to match western boards (something that as gammaton noted is its own source of debate) to layouts or something along those lines. You'll also find some JP v-konte that are very much comparable to this anyway, so it's not like it's absolutely out of place.
Saw the film the other day. Absolutely peak cinema.

While it was conceived of & filmed as one long continuous shot -- the back half of the 'Across the Spiderverse' teaser was broken down into 5 shots animated by Byung Choi, Philip Rudolph, Siggi Orri Thorhannesson, myself, and David Han.
