He's "one" of the best sure, but saying it's the best animation of this year?…Maybe (we've seen more stunning animations but let's see). Nonetheless, it's good to see him back. Just from the first second of the animation in the episode, I already recognized who it is…so majestic

This entire cut is crazy, but the layouts of the last three shots here are so over the top I can't help but laugh. You can count on one hand how many animators would even attempt something like this for what is essentially just a trio of stills. I know that some people don't like Nakamura's modern style, but a 30+ year veteran animator embracing a style of such unapologetic, modern boldness is a truly incredible thing
