phenomenal out put from Kouki in this episode and op,unbelievable
Reuploaded? I'll say it again. Pretty sure these are rotoscoped or at least traced from motion-capture. You don't get ultra-realistic movement/proportions like that from reference unless your someone who specializes in specifically that type of animation and Kouki Fujimoto does not.

You can see his process for cuts like this here (albeit it's more of a joke than the real deal), just looks like he uses live action reference. Think you're underselling Fujimoto a bit here because while he doesn't specialize in character acting like this it doesn't really reduce his capacity to utilize a reference (most good animators should be able to make use of one). If I remember correctly you cited GOHS in the last post, but the output looks completely different, it's a lot less formal and professional process. Roto also gives a pretty unique feel that referencing doesn't, so I don't think it's that either.

the animator doesn't need to specialize in a realistic style of animation to be able to do this, that thought doesn't make sense, fujimoto is an animator with years of experience and is quite capable of making an animation in this style with the use of references as he has already done in jjk
