Cuts you can hear

Regarding the animation credits for this episode, it seems that the credits on the Soul of Joe website which credit this to the Jaggard animators (in spite of having Akio Sugino as animation director) are incorrect, and the ED credits on the current copy which credit the animation to Mitsuo Shindō, Nobuyoshi Sasakado, and Ikuo Fudanoki (with Masateru Yoshimura as inbetweener) are indeed the correct credits - the background artist credited in them (大野昭三) does not show up on any other episode, and neither does one of the finish/cel painters (唐崎泰子). Plus, it makes sense from a rotational standpoint - Shindō-Sasakado-Fudanoki are otherwise completely absent between 36 and 48 (42 falls right at the midpoint of that stretch!), and the Jaggard animators had already done episode 40 just before this.
