at least last third cut and last cut are presumed to be Kobayashi redrew (only character movement)
This is truly breathtaking !!
The shadow work on the folds are immaculate.
The fall was too goofy😂
This is some phenomenal character acting, perhaps on par with Okiura, Inoue, or the best of KyoAni.
Directorial debut on Kobayashi, right? Amazing episode, all of it was so pretty. I swear the walks in this episode look rotoscoped to me but maybe the staff is just that good.
The staff on Bisque and Kobayashi in general utilizes real life reference for some of the movements and animation as shown with this episode and a lot of scenes well before.

Every good animator uses references once in a while, but my question is if they are actually rotoscoping or not. Their skill is undeniable anyways.
Sometimes its rotoscope, sometimes its referencing.
This is crazy, the linework is insane, the walk and the way he falls look like it's CGI at some point
Man watching a new Keisuke Kobayashi anim cut makes me satisfied for it's fluidity and natural movement different than rotoscoped. It reminds me of Hiroyuki Okiura or Toshiyuki Inoue of fluidity and realistic character movement
He's got the potential to become of anime's greatest animation directors, that Kobayashi-san.
The fall look so goooodddd
