Great Effects aside, I am impressed by the 3D work. It is a definite improvement from last season. Especially the transition from Reiner's 2D head to 3D at 0:17.

I am really curious on how they went about all the injuries the titans receive. I can think of 2 ways of doing it, they did another layer below the skin of the model and they remove the top one or its a shader. Probably the second one,
