The BD changed some of the compositing in some cuts in a way that hid the animation because...idk, but since this site is for displaying animation there is a mix

Why is it that there are some cuts from the TV version inbetween the BD cuts?
The blu-ray version has made basically all of Sakai's effects very low in opacity and hid it with lots of questionnable digital cg smoke, probably to make the titan models blend better:

Since It tragically hinders the 2D work I had to make a compromise between the TV and BD version to have best of both worlds. It's pretty much the best we can do here

Still looks lame
Previous comments have been whipped for a reason, you don't have to come back and repeat the same thing again

Which is why I thought it was worth pointing out.
Yeah I heavily hesitated wether or not I should include this change, in a way it looks nice but the digital blood does hide sakai's input in a way. A very hard choice, same for the last cut which was improved a lot compositing wise but you can see less of the liquid animation because of the added trees
I think they toned down on the blur a little.
His arm still popping in and out in 0:15 lmao
