In a special screening with the staff, Masakazu Ogawa has confirmed that the encouter between Hathaway and Keria is animated by Murase with correction by Naoyuki Onda. Even if the rest of the scene is also very likely to be him, i'm letting presumed just to be safe.

whether it's the character designs,poses,clothes,BG designs (city,hotel,etc just wow),BG art
props to the designers,also some revolutionary camera work
that's anime at its finest

and on top you got okiura and murase animating,enough said

I read an article where the CG director talked about how about 90 percent of the film was augmented with CG including characters. When you see the walking animation it becomes immediately apparent it's a cg model. Still, the integration by the staff is immensely well done and should not be understated!

it seems that the character animation was inconsistent. It wasn't a very polish production.
