What beautiful people are responsible for this? Just insane

What a day to be alive.
Agreed.
the experience of watching this episode for the first time was one of the most insane I have ever had watching media, what an absolute triumph of animation this episode is. One unbelievable scene after another, and despite it all the climax delivers to an unreasonable degree. I'm amazed that this can even exist.
As someone just said, what a day to be alive....
Genuinely forgot to breathe throughout most of this episode. What a monumental effort.
speechless
really speechless

they went for the epic grand finale fight
and they pulled it off perfectly
Felt like watching Fate Apocrypha #22 or Babylonia #18 again. It's amazing to see such insane detail, background animation, and wild movement in a Western project. Bravo to the team.
if the background were just a little bit off, all of these toptier scenes in season 4 would be a horror show. It's been a while since i've seen such a good compositing between the 2D animation and the dynamic background. Applause for the team.
fuck sake , i shouldnt have watched s4 .....

now everything i watch is going to look like shit .
The only time I'm happy when the video buffers so I end up watching this masterpiece frame by frame
I am truly speechless absolutely astounding episode. I tip my hat to the Deats', the folks at Powerhouse and everyone else that helped with this episode.
why does it stutter so much?

Unless there is something specific to your viewing device, it does not stutter. What you are likely experiencing is simply the nature of the animation. The animator featured here, Tam Lu, frequently animates in a choppy manner without inbetweens, meaning the animation is not 24fps and is likely closer to 8.
