You know what... I'm gonna go in on my guess here, I'm feeling like this might be Takuya Matsumura's work(or at least the stuff Nishiya didn't correct)

as i mentioned in my original comment, he was VERY high up on the KA list (4th overall), and the shapes I'm seeing in those explosions look pretty similar to his style.

there might even be a few more posts from this episode where his work is present, maybe post #153234 but I'm not as certain about that one.
