not to take anything away from Takashima but there were thirty-four 2nd KA + two studios credited for clean up, so to talk about best solos ever you would definitely need to differentiate between solo genga and solo layout. That said he also boarded and directed so it is very impressive.

it's quite rare these days, off the top of my head Hideki Takahashi's Haikyuu solo was completely cleaned by him. Junichi Takaoka's on Mahouka #02, Iwane also does it often but that's under pretty different circumstances
