The hammer morphing part was really cool, but the rest of the stuff didn't look very good, especially how the projectiles hit Eren and the blood all over the place, but absolutely no injury.
they should put more textures on the titans to make them blend in more. the warhammer titan looks a bit too glossy

They had the usual WIT style skin texture in the trailer for the titans. Maybe they didn't add them to the cgi titans because it'd look weird on them? I dunno...

Texture is there for the pure Titans too, thought the same thing. The flesh texture would probably make the 3D Titans stand out even more

it would be hard to make the flesh texture wit used in s1 to look consistent or natural with the cgi , with the amount of muscle details the attack titan has and the shading those parts requires , it would have looked like a green screen effect if it wasnt done right...... if i remember correctly , i think even wit themselves changed the texture of the skin for the latter seasons ? and i liked the latter one more than the previous texture ....
They often times switched between the two, and mostly abandoned the original texturing in season 3.
