The last 20 seconds are pure Bullshit. When you know that level of 2d backround animation exists and looks so perfect and sexy its hard to surprised and caught of guard even by the best 3d blends

Indeed, hair raising stuff. That's as late 80s Ohira as you can get, with the incredible density of motion in the effects work and mastery of perspective to be found, and the Yamashita styled effects aesthetic he was into in his early days still present. I love it.
