according to the note on his atwiki page, this was the scene that got Keiichi Ishida noticed for the first time- easy to see why...

You would think that would make it confirmed but there's no source for anything written on his page (and at least one scene has been proven incorrect on it) so for now the presumed tag is kept but is basically just a formality.
