Nanami is pulling some teleportation skills at 3 seconds, pretty weird how fast he ran to the other end of the tunnel.
Tagging artist_unknown as well because some parts are quite different from the LO.
is it just the compositing/ art-direction or also AD that make this look a bit stiffer than the LO?

Animation director.
They correct/redraw the drawings from the animators.

ah okay, is it just another term for animation supervisor?
the compositing isn't that great but the corrections are definitely what ruined it.

So what is compositing in animation terms and how is it affecting this scene.
Composite or the "Photography" team manage how the scene will look after all the animation/coloring is done. Depending on the Photography Director's instructions (the director, episode director, or even an animator can make requests as well) they can make a color look brighter, add extra textures, light flares, and other extra effects that weren't on the original animation. In the end, they're supposed to ensure that all the elements animation/colors/bg look as harmonious as they can.

In this scene specifically, that obviously doesn't happen. Putting aside the animation, because that's another talk mentioned before. If you look at the textures in the walls and floor are nothing than default options that didn't require much work.

So is https://www.sakugabooru.com/post/show/104110
This can be considered a good composition because the first few seconds in which the person runs in the train the lighting looks good with sunlight and all so is this the compositing done good
