Tadashi Hiramatsu and Toshiyuki Inoue were vehicle supervisors on the film. Okiura talks about the Volkswagen design which Tadashi Hiramatsu oversaw but it is unknown if either of them corrected this scene. Okiura praises Hamana, specifically for the way the car dips into the puddle at 0:39.
