XY/XYZ is just incredible when it comes to fight scenes. The intensity, the pace, and the frenetic energy of is just so amazing. The consistency in the level of quality in many of these fight scenes is just leagues above any of the other Pokemon seasons and def puts it up there with a lot of battle shounens in quality.

I agree, it must be the work of an Action Animation Director well present in the series or a regular member.

I'm not a pokemon watcher
but I was blown away by the last episodes of the XY/XYZ tournament
it was really incredible
