a decent chunk of this should be him, not the first few cuts because its edited and there are crowd cuts inbetween the lightning that don't look like him, probably around where the debris starts to go flying but for sure towards the middle ~0:50 with the lip-sync and character acting

I wonder if he might have actually been a pseudo AD on the movie because the character focused cuts have a lot more of his presence than the other ones

at 1:09 the bird running under the bridge and the girl flipping
probably is him cuz everything that is sooooooooo great is yamashita

hopefully we see yamashita working with different studios

So is this movie the reason why Yamashita was rarely seen in boruto these days?

yes but there is also at least one more project he's working on, in addition to that I think he will show up at least once on Akudama Drive, since both that and this movie are directed by Tomohisa Taguchi. I wouldn't expect him to be a regular on it though.
