They are not implementing the motion capture into the show from what I heard, director Park only did it to have reference when animating to be as accurate as possible. There have been very few instances where motion capture is actually implemented in anime shows and let's just say most of the time it was pretty bad and looked really weird.

Reference material probably. Maybe he had an idea for the choreography, motion captured it, to see how it's going to look and used it as a reference material. That's my guess
after I first watched the pv,I found that the animation is so natural and isn't traced or rotoscoped,
so I had the same idea that it's for reference purpose but if so, why not live shoot it rather than doing motion capture,doesn't make sense

Yeah, i also said the same thing to myself . But maybe having it in "motion capture" form. Is easier to see, because the footage is clear, and you can see the way the body move without any cloth in the way.

With motion capture you actually capture the performance, free from any camera angle constrains.
Once that performance is applied to a body in a 3d software you can see the resulting animation from any camera angle.
You could also apply it to a different body type ( with lots of work ).
Imagine you need to draw someone doing a high kick, from a top down angle, character 3/4 from the camera on a 50mm lens ? Now you can see what it looks like.
