you know what... i think I'll change my guess here. i think Ohki is likely in the backend of the fight, with Matsumura at the start.

Also, the layout on the mecha landing is really nice, i don't think i realized how strong the drawings were before, which makes me think it's one of the two in-house mecha specialists here.

Maeda is a possibility as well, but i still don't quite understand the extent of his Main Animator role on this show yet.
