It turns out this scene was actually Yamamura's work. I'm a bit ashamed since, in hindsight, the timing here looks nothing like Sunada's. I had presumed him because of the detailed closeups of hands and because the hair/fabric animation reminded me of other stuff he'd done but, looking back, it's totally not him at all.
If one good thing did come out of this, though, it's that I now feel like I have a much firmer grasp of Yamamura's style.
