I guess Chikashi Kubota did the 2nd cut with the faces rotation. I met him during the Made in Asia festival in Belgium in 2018. After a masterclass, i asked him what he had animated for SnK and he said me that 2nd cut was his work. I guess... because it was the very end of the masterclass and when he tried to explain it in details, the translator ran away ^^'
