Depends in your sense of humor, I think. It's very much on the action-comedy side of things while slowly exploring an overarching plot.

To be honest, watching this and other clips from the same show,
I kept finding myself thinking "oooh man, here -someone- grew up with Madhouse and Trigger animes -nod nod-" xD

In general, one can see in variou degrees how japanese animation influenced the latest generations of western animators and cartoon makers, even when they then developed its style into something more personal and new. It's a cool and interesting circle of influences, especially thinking that animation poured into Japan from the western world at first, and even today goes back to re-influencing the anime country. Honestly I find it fascinating :D
this scene is so beautiful, but its a tiny bit upsetting the way they defeated him was so anti climactic
