I loved episode 10 of Usagi Drop, animation direction by Ei Inoue. The episode reeked of veteran experienced animators from the easy timing of the characters to the solid depiction of fabric of the characters' clothing; it was the perfect episode for that type of animation. I gotta get to uploading more cuts of episode 10...
Another one I loved was episode 8 of Paranoia Agent, again with the veteran animators, animation direction by Satoru Utsunomiya. The episode was a great change of pace from the usual in the anime,it was a very silly episode but the animation style went a bit more realistic, an interesting mix i'd say, Utsunomiya's face style really showed throughout the episode too along with his sort of limb-based animation.I was drooling and laughing for its awesome animation and silly writing.
